You say partisan attack, I say philosphical discussion

It appears as though Dick Durbin's comments can be chalked up to
"talking about the different philosophies and our different approaches when it comes to winning the war on terrorism."
at least that's how Scott McClellan explained Karl Rove's speech to
the New York state Conservative Party yesterday in which Rove stated:
"liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers. Conservatives, saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war."
As we know from DSM and the flood of documentation around the plan for war, the conservatives were so keen to start a war in response to 9/11 they invented a case for one against those they knew weren't responsible for 9/11 and so prepared, they started the war before Congress authorized it.
