- McCaint blasts Obama on public campaign financing even though it looks like Johnny-[don't]-B-Good may have actually used the promise of public campaign funds to help nail own a $4 million line of credit last November. On the bright side, he may have regained "conservative" cred by not being the evil liberal who supported the McCain-Feingold law.
- McCaint categorically denies any impropriety in his relationship with lobbyist Vicki Iseman and her firm . . . maybe
- Of course, any lobbyists that Johnny has a good relationship with, or that work for him are honorable ". . .people that represent firemen, civil servants, retirees, and those people are legitimate representatives of a variety of interests in America." [those variety of interests in America being those advanced by AT&T, Verizon, JP Morgan, Land O'Lakes, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and Toyota]
UPDATE: and here I thought I was clever in using the term McCaint but, while fixing an error that hid part of it the post, I came across a funny little blog: "John McCaint If it mccaint broke mccaint fixit"
