Angela Merkel gets more like Bush every day

After a resounding humiliation when the CDU had to admit their candidate for Chancellor, Angela Merkel, essentially plagiarized a Ronald Reagan speech to best opponent Gerhard Schröder in a recent debate, Merkel and the CDU have come back swinging to fight the resultant drop in polls. The latest salvo from the CDU camp is reminiscent of the campaigns of American President George W. Bush King George: they've played the Commie card with less than a week to go before elections.
