Just the other day, in an interview with Time, Condi said she thought the insurgency in Iraq was losing steam contradicting Democratic leadership who've stated the lack of trained Iraqis to fight insurgents may leave us digging our heels for many years to come. Today, Rummy also contradicted Condi by saying he expects the insurgency to get worse and violence to increase especially during the upcoming constitutional referendum and December elections. For his part General Richard Myers, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, basically said he has no friggen clue when the Iraqis will take over security of their own country.
